There are lots of great destinations that instantly conjure certain images in our heads, but are you absolutely sure that it will work out like that when you’re planning on being there? Depending on what time of year you go, you might find completely different weather, prices may vary massively, certain attractions may or may not be open, even things like the scenery and wildlife around you will differ.
Do your homework and reap the benefits, even things like public holidays can change your experience for better or worse. Also do not forget to check simple things like whether you need visas or vaccinations and always get insurance.
5. Time is of the essence.
