The location of Pousada de Palmela is simply beautiful. But if you look for a place that you can help organize your wedding, have a professional service, in terms of price / quality some compensation then really, do not choose the Pousada de Palmela. I realized this on the day of the Dinner Proceeding when they seviram me frozen spinach, frozen fish and a tortilla of eggs in package! For a menu over € 100 how is it possible to do something like that? The wedding cake was simply a catastrophe, it did not have any nutty perfumes and was soaked with sugary water. Between time, I had to organize everything, sound, lights, decor etc etc they just offer tables, chairs and the dishes.
On the day of the wedding, did we pay € 145 for each room and believe that not all beds were made for our guests?
We ended up organizing our wedding at the Pousada but if it had to repeat I will never go there to add a stress that is enough before this event. Without the help and professionalism of the management and chef of the Old Kitchen restaurant at Queluz Palace, I have no idea what our guests had eaten .. They helped us incredibly so I can recommend this place for sure to organize your glass of wedding water.
